SUMMER RAIN ON THE KIAMICHI

from $20.00

Meandering through Choctaw country in Oklahoma, the Kiamichi River flows southwest from Pine Mountain down the picturesque Kiamichi River Valley past Talihina, Tuskahoma, Clayton and Antlers, turning southeast and joining the Red River at the Oklahoma/Texas state line.

Archaeological discoveries across the Kiamichi River basin show life of ancient Indian tribes in the valley. After the relocation of the Choctaw Nation to Indian Territory, the river defined some of our land boundaries held in fee simple title prior to the Dawes commission and Oklahoma statehood.

Summer Rain On The Kiamichi was taken near our Capitol grounds from the bridge at Tuskahoma during a gentle summer rain.

Available in 5X7” Print, 5X7” Print with 8X10” Mat (mat color may vary), 9x6” Limited Edition Signed Print (1 of 50). Limited addition comes with numbered Certificate of Authenticity. All prints comes with backcover story. Please select print choice before adding to cart.
